Post Bodykit or Not???

Ugh... I can't decide.
I thought I was good with the 'clean' look,
but now I'm having 2nd thoughts. I'm gonna
swing by the dealership today to take a good
look at the oem kit.

The car now as it stands...

Definitely get the bodykit! It will make your TL-S stand out from the rest. It is one of the best investment you can make for your car. Even though it is hard to see, check out my sig...

I am in the same situation. I really want the kit, but spending around 900 bucks for looks, I really have second thoughts. But it is so tempting... ARRRGGGGGG....

Ya, get the kit. I think we all want to make our cars unique or different and the kit helps in this area.

BTW- I will be getting the kit from snook he has a great price! Check his prices out before buying elsewhere.

I would leave it alone. Add the tail if you want to add something. Your TL-S looks Damn good the way it is. I don't think the body kit blends well. Some kits look good because they look like they're apart of the car, but the body kit for the TL-S looks too "add on". Keep your car smooth, it looks great.

Oh, BTW how will it stand out from the rest when apparently everyone else has it.

Here's with ps'd kit.
It's 2g for the kit and spoiler installed.
OUCH... but I might end up doing it. Definately, not in a rush... so I might sit on it for a bit.

I think w/o the kit looks more luxurious, while with the kit looks more sport and agressive like instigating a race! If you get the kit, you gotta get the spoiler too! I love the oem body kit and ww spoiler combo!

2G's no way!!!!!!!!

Order here from Snook. I got my entire body kit and a Wings West lip spoiler for $1000 and change shipped to my door. Painting the spoiler cost $200, so thats $1200, and I did the install myself.

Save yourself a bundle and buy here even if you dont do the install of the spoiler yourself. trust me ANYONE can install the bodykit, anyone. I already posted detailed instructions here for the install.

P.S. Would youi be offended if I bought the same rims??? They look awesome!!

Here's what it looks like with the kit (for real, not PS'd):

And I think the kit looks VERY integrated, like it's part of the car, but that's just me.

And heres what I have on the WW lip spoiler install. If you are getting OEM its much easier. The trunk already has indented areas on the underside for the spoiler holes. Open the trunk and look at both sides, you'll see what I am talking about. for the OEM spoiler just drill holes in them, line up the new spoiler and scre it on. You'll probably just want to disconnect the high mount thrid stop ight and just run those wires to the spoiler. There probably is another wire you could tap, but this kills two birds with one stone. If you want the WW lip spoiler its a little harder as the holes dont line up perfectly.

I had to start with small drill bits, and test fit the spoiler several times while enlarging the holes in the proper direction in between. The cars paint is very soft, all the test fitting really scratched up the deck lid, thankfully all those areas are covered by the spoiler. When putting on the spoiler for test fits, slide the spolier forward onto the car otherswise the scrathes will be in visible areas, or if you can mask off the entire trunk lid.

So be warned this job is not for the faint of heart. Definitely requires at least 2 people. 3 would probably be better. The way the spoiler sits off the back a little cupping the rear lip of the trunk itself, it is very prone to sliding around which you dont want. Install time for the spoiler was about 2 hours. the only hard part was adjusting the holes and doing all the test fits since it didnt line up exactly.

Good Luck.
