Arrow good deal ...

alien,

I think it's a good deal ... wait a sec... this is for the pre-'02 bodykit? On an earlier thread, they are phasing out these kits, thus the price should be lower. If its '02+ kit, the front skirt is different (and thus a higher price). I paid C$1700 for the latter kit @ Woodbine Acura in Toronto) -- thanks to TLS RULZ.

But $1339.59 with tax ... that's an amazing price. I think that's a great deal. Be sure to do the install yourself -- it is an easy thing to do with the right tools (axle jacks and/or ramps), 10 mm wrench, drill set, Phillips screwdriver, and a little elbow grease. There's no reason to pay the dealership $300-$400 to install it. Have a friend to help you out -- speeds the install up big time.

how many body kits exist for the 2000 tl, I've only seen the 3 (and they are all also on this page).
Wings west, Acura, and Comptech.

Wings west
- skirts suck
- rear skirt is alright
- front spoiler is alright

Acura
- skirts are nicest
- front spoiler is sweat
- rear (can't really see it)

Comptech
- skirts are kinda weird
- front is alright
- rear is okay

I wish there were more options. Right now it looks like I'm going to opt for the Acura kit becasue it's prepainted and it looks the nicest. The picture on this site has a nice set of fog lights install on that bumper too.

Keep in mind that the Comptech kit is bascially the same as the WW kit. If you look at their pics they even use the same car!

There are some Japanese kits like the Value kit and Mugen stuff, but they are very expensive and hard to find....

Well if I can find either (the value, or mugen) before I buy the acura kit I might think about it. It'll be worth the buy, im going to keep the car for a long time.

I'm not sure about the front or sides. But the rear is definately different. Take a closer look at the rear The flush mount spoiler is also different between Comptech and Wings West. So weird, selling such simliar kits.

Holy old post batman

Click on the links at the top of the board, specifically, the Aero Part link, and you'll see some kits. FYI....Snook runs this site.
