Body Kit Owners: What did you do...

...with your original side body trim/"skirts"?

In principle, I want to keep/store them... However, I don't have a whole lot of room and am thinking about dumping them...

What have all of you done?

Iv'e kept mine, just in case I wanna put the factory stuff back on and sell the kit if I trade the car in or something. Its only 2 side skirt pieces so I didnt mind and space was not too much of an issue.

if you plan to go back to stock I would suggest keeping them. i forgot to ask for my stock side skirts when the body kit was installed so now if I go back, i need to get a new set of side skirts. Possible to just stand them straight up some where in the corner?

I kept the sills and the mud guards out on my balcony, just in case. Between those, the stock mufflers, and the stock air intake I'm getting quite the collection.

Sitting in my garage. I figure if I ever part with the car I can sell the kit separately.

My side skirts are in my garage. I figure I'll get more money selling the kit than I would from a dealer on trade in when I buy a new car.

Why? It's worth more to keep them around when I decide the sell the car and the person doesn't want the kit or isn't willing to pay anything for it.

not much space in my place...they dont occupy much either. I placed them next to my stock headers/intake/resonator, pulleys and all this other stock stuff off my TL

dont throw em away because the next owner WILL NOT throw an extra dime for the body kit...which are discontinued and you can make easy $400+ off em.

honestly, the majority of dealers or people buying used TLs are gonna notice if the stock side skirts are missing..... unless they come onto this forum after they buy the car.
