i have a white 2000 3.2 TL and i was just wanted to know everybodys thoughts on a body kit. should i get one? i mean i really do want to make my ride look nice. anybody have suggesstions on what to get and have sites to buying them. i've been reading alot on this and seems like most of you guys have the OEM kit. can you guys tell me what sites i can look at them? thanks!

99-01 body kits are increasing rare.
Acura decided to stop producing body kits soon after the 04 TL came out. and since the front lip of the 99-01's are different from 02-03, they are even harder to come by. you can order the kit from autocarparts.com (sponsored seller of this forum), but it will cost you about $1050 shipped and painted.
an alternative would be the Wings West (WW) kit for about 650 shipped but will need to be painted (you are looking at $250-300, i think). http://www.nopionline.com/nopistore/...tle=ACURA%20TL has it. personally, i dont like it as much as the OEM but its all a matter of taste.

i've just called and email Tim about a body kit for my TL and we've just settled on 829.00 shipped and painted. if you want the kit, you better hurry as he told me he doesn't have many left in stock.

another choice would be look for deals on ebay, or from people who are selling their car/kits. its tough to find this way, but it would be cheaper when you can. i recent lost a really sweet deal for the kit painted in mismatching colors for 450.00 but... sigh* sad, long story.

i have seen two in the black market recently

 

some guy is selling his ww kit unpainted in the black market.. He's selling it to much though. Also i just bought the ww kit with ww flushmount spoiler for 760.00 shipped to my door unpainted. I think this is good price. I figure painting both would be around 350-450. So about maybe 1150-1250 total not that bad for both.

Well i am selling both the spoiler and bodykit for 1200 Painted and Shipped so i dont know how u call it too much. And i can still negotiate a bit over that price too .

 

i have three weeks to search for a good paint shop at a decent price. I already bought it..and if i cancel i think they would charge me restocking fee. But who knows i just ordered yesterday.

Thanks anyways.. Dont know for sure if it would cost me around that price to get it painted. Could be less. Again i have 3 weeks to search because the spoiler is backorder so i have to wait for that. ITs cool no rush.

 

yea but looking at the WW kit... it doesnt really seem like the kinda style i would get. i've seen the OEM kits and i think those do look nicer... but im having a real hard time trying to find one on ebay or the black market... even doing searches on google, still cant find shit... lol..
