Researching online, and I found the following? I always thought that the tranny was the weakest part of any automatic car, but why is it more of an issue nowadays? Maybe it was just the fact that forums like this didnt exist years and years ago where owners would even know about this.

Either way, all signs are pointing towards a stick for the next car.

The signs and symptoms are exactly what my car is doing right now. Not going into reverse right away, and some slipping.

Do you notice your slippage when turning a corner without coming to a complete stop? ..lower speeds+rpms?
