Blacking Out Front Grill?

I was wondering if anyone ever blacked out the chrome surrounding on the front grill. How did you do this? With what? Did you paint it with tint or wrap it?

Why would you want it blacked out unless you havea black car?? If i did any thing to the oem grill it would be to paint it (which i did) all you need to do is sand it really<-- reallly emphasizing on this) then prime it and paint it

I did it. Wetsanded chrome, primed, then painted with NBP paint from an auto paint store. Had it like this for awhile.

My dad got the paint from an automotive paint store. It is in fact OEM NBP paint, however I know he paid a ridiculous price of like $80 for a quart, I'm sure you can find it cheaper. We used an HVLP spray gun and compressor to apply the paint.

Yes most auto PAINT stores will put the color of your choice in a spray can for around 20 bucks. If not they will http://www.towerpaint.com/

Yes it would be the same process, just with different pieces (2 if I am correct??). I used 1500 and then 2000 grit, available at autozone/pepboys and just normal dupli-color primer.
