You know all TL/CL Type-S owners have one. Mine is this strip of road on my way to school.. It winds all over the place and I've been known to take the old 01' CL Type-S into the 120 area. LET ME KNOW

Still looking for one. However, I was going 135MPH on Rt. 495, a heavily used highway.

I like Shore Drive between the Ocean Front and the Lesner Bridge here in Virginia Beach. It looks like a BMW commercial could be filmed there...or better yet a TLS commercial......

I had to drop my GF of in bridgewater today so i got to take the 495 to get to work. I was only on it for 10 mins but it was the most fun i've had in the car so far. This car is great going from 70 to 100. It makes wish i had to take the highway to work all the time!

Rt. 495 got the fame of being Very-High-Speed "User Friendly". Why, who knows???. Can't be that it is not patroled by State and local trooper... it should have a secret..... All the time on Rt 495 I used to Ole' Ma pushing her Camry at triple speed...

JBN, Beiruty, when are we going to see you guys at the meet? MAybe we should put together a Rt. 495 meet.

I actually know Rt. 495 very well. I used date a girl from Taunton and I used go to school in Manchester and worked in Nashua. Not a lot of cops on that road that's why it is great for high speeds.

You missed the meet last week, we had fun. The next meet probably will probably be in November, or late Oct.

With the colder weather, with the addition of the Mystery mod to the CAI, and maybe the headers and sways, it would be fun to meet you and have some runs on Rt-495....

Just let me know before hand, like a week or so, and I will get my CL-S detailed.

A lot of fun for sure...

I live in Northborough, in between Worcester and Framingham. I don't think you would know my ex, she is 26... well, maybe you would, Amy Perrault? She is in FL right now so there is no way you can bring her to the meet.

If any of you are interested, I am willing to meet up with you guys on the 13th of October. Maybe we can get the others out also. Let me know what you think.

For top speed, I've found a few stretches of I-95 between Daytona and Jupiter that are awesome, possibly the only good thing about driving in Florida. In my '94 GSR 4-door (RIP), I hit 147 (indicated) several times while screwing around on the way back from spring break a few years ago. And more recently (2 months ago) I bounced off the speed limiter in my TLS (149 indicated) twice, man is this car amazing or what?

BTW, anybody know how to dump the speed limiter on these things? I'm really curious to see what this thing can do once I get adequate tires and brakes. :p

Eastern CT is full of awesome winding back roads - especially nice now that the leaves are turning.

Driving from Vancouver, Wa, to Portland, Or, over the I-205 Bridge, late at night. It's almost 3 miles, downhill, with 5 lanes. Hardly any cops, being that it goes from state-to-state.

Hmm the Lara Zulia inbetween Maracaibo and La Mesa... it is about a 2 hour and 30 minute drive. No speed limit fairly gently turns at first, then it gets into narrow mountain roads with hairpin turns and all. That is where I learned to drive. Never went too fast though as I was with my parents on all those drives... so I topped out at 175 kph.

Ahh fun.... but unfortunately it is not in the US.... it is in Venezuela

My favorite stretch is the 5 freeway, going from Irvine to LA at 5 in the afternoon.

Another fun stretch was enjoyed in my Accord on my many trips from San Francisco to Portland. Crossing from California to Oregon on I5, going over the pass, it is about a 6 degree grade downhill, with long sweeping corners. The cops usually use planes there, so it is fairly safe. Going 120 around long corners with a steap cliff on the right side can be exhilarating.

Anyone from the Bay area take... what is it, Highway 1 to Stinson Beach? Those are some quick corners. Probably better for a small car you can really whip around the corners. There were a bunch of fun roads over there... on that side of the Bay. I remember one stretch where I caught up to a Lamborghini with my Accord. He was just enjoying the day, and I couldn't get him to play. I had my stock tires on that day and when we stopped, the tires were scuffed halways up the sidewalls from cornering so hard.
