Best price for Chicago, Madison(Wisconsin)
I've called all around the Chicagoland area and Madison, Wisconsin. All the quotes have been around $31,000 for a TypeS without navigation, spoiler, mud guards, wheel locks, and trunk tray. This is before taxes. Should I bite? I feel this is a fair price. Somebody stop me if it's not. I'm buying in the next few days.

I definitely think you can get a better deal. I just helped my buddy buy a Type-S with navi, mud guards, wheel locks, and all weather mats (before tax, title, and license) for 31,850. I did lots of haggling though, so try a bit harder and don't rush buying the car.

I got my 2K2 TL S (with all season floor mats, wheel locks, truck tray and mud guards) back in March from Muller's Woodfield Acura (ask for Bruce Reinger) for $29,850 plus ttl.
Edmunds has a price of $30,779 for what you should pay for a 2003 TL S (no navi).
Peter & anokha, what dealership did you buy from?

My friend just bought a TLS from mullers for 31,700, and thats with navi.
I paid 31,500 from mullers a year ago for mine.
Do this... and i promise you that you will get the car... Go to edmunds.com and click on FIND LOCAL DEALERS, then find where you can email the 3 or 4 local dealers near you. NOW, email those dealers with the same message. Tell them that you want a TLS with no navi for 28k, and that the first dealer to contact you will get the sale and you will go in that same day to buy it.
Trust me, i have bought 3 cars in the past month doing this method.. let the dealers fight for your sale. You should have to haggle.
