I am looking to purchase a 2003 TLS with NO navi, and no additional upgrades. What is the best price you have been able to locate, prior to tax and title, and at what dealer, and state.

It appears from shopping around that some of the dealers are giving an aggressive price, but insisting you purchase the protection package (mud flaps, trunkguard, floormats, wheel locks) in order to get a little more margin. That's ok as it only adds $200 to the base price.

Either way, with or without the protection package, I would appreciate your help in trying to understand how low a dealer is willing to go to make a sale.

I am assuming the last week of the month would be the ideal time to cut this deal. Any thoughts on that?

I dont know if I got the "best" price...but I think I got a pretty good price at least. I ended up with my car (anthracite grey) for $29,200. Maybe some of the other people have been able to do better. It be interesting to see around how much everyone paid for.

 

Best price I got quoted for non-navi with $29,750 with protection package when I was looking last month. I ended up getting it with the navi though.
