Best Oil Filter to use with Mobil1 Synthetic Oil
Was wondering which oil filter is the best to use with Mobil 1 Synthetic oil. Reason why i ask is because i currently have a Mobil 1 Oil Filter but im changing my oil again but this time myself and i can't find a Mobil 1 Oil Filter in any of the Auto Part stores near me. The Mobil Oil Change center wont sell me one seperately either. So i was wondering if a Mobil 1 Oil filter is a must or if it really isnt worth the extra money you pay. Please vote in the poll as well up above. Thanks.

In short, you do not have to use Mobile1 filters with Mobil1 oil.
If you look at the Mobile1 and Bosch oil filters they are manufactured very similarly. I've noticed over the years that they change slightly, but they do look like the best made ones if you take a look in all the boxes in the store. I have used Bosch and Mobile1 interchangeably based on which one is in stock.
Mobile1 Filters run about $12, Bosch about $8 and Fram, etc in the $3-$6. Do you get what you pay for? Probably not, but it's nice to know you're putting the best stuff you can afford on the car.
I'd say Fram (suregrip), Bosch or Mobile1 will all serve you fine if you change your oil regularly.

Pep Boys has a deal from time to time where they'll do a mail-in rebate for a Mobil 1 oil filter (limit 1) when you buy a 6 pack of Mobil 1 oil (usually sale priced at the same time). Hard to beat that...unless there's no Pep Boys where you live.

click on the links in the middle of the page for the oil filter break down or oil itself. i run either puerolator pure one or amsoil on everything, the acura, roush, and bike.
