List out your best..... electronical, mechanical, or cosmetic. What mod are you glad you did and wonder how you did without it?

Easy. I swapped out my 00' cup holder for a 01-03 holder.... The difference is night and day. I was lost without it.

nice. I guess I'm thinking on a larger scale though. I want to do something impressive. The cup holder is a no brainer. hehehe

I would have to say.... Hmmmm... its a hard question to answer... Im very proud of myself for doing my entire system all by myself... Then theres the ambient lighting i did a year or so back, the same kind in BMW's and the '04 TL, then theres the springs/shocks and the wheels which i could not live without...

The most ballzy MOD i did was the 745 side markers, which i could not live without.

Then theres the inspire tails, which i cannot live without...

Fuck dude, this is a hard question...

Upgraded the brakes, but that was more required than anything else...

I dunno. Im stumped.

Wheels......absolutely and positively.

Especially when I look at 99-01 TLs and those whack OEM wheels.

The very best mod I've ever done and will continue to do in all future cars is tints & hard-wired radar detectors.

I'll go a step further than shawn74 ... Comptech springs & sways, tints 20%, rims & good tires. (The silver Comptech Sport sticker on the rear quarterpanel also adds some pizzazz, too)

- derrick

PS Limit down to one? OEM bodykit or CT springs (if you're more show). CT sways (for handling). CT headers (for go ... or so I am told!)

Headers definitely were the most impressive mod I've done. Put a nice smile on my face after driving home ... but I appreciate the handling mods I've done to the car more than anything else. I can't say which makes the biggest difference cuz I got both the Tein SS Coilovers and Swaybars at the same time ... but they make the car feel completely different. It handles a lot better ... doesn't feel like as much of a boat. Now I need to get new tires

rims, fabulous expand 19X8
in my humble opinion, by far the best looking rims for a 2nd gen tl.....too bad i'm computer illeterate and don't know how to post pics of them up here

then again, they wouldn't look great w/o body kit and drop.....its a collective effort
