Question Which is the best kit?

how many kits are available for the 2001 TL?
i am planning to get a 2001 TL?
but would the 2000 TL be better?
and one more thing
which is the best size for some wheels?
17", 19" or 20"?
i seen some 20's but i was talkin to a friend of mine and he said they arent good cause you can push ur car as fast as u could with 15 or 17 inch wheels? is this true?

hey welcome...
get a 01' of course, or wait a bit bit longer for the tl-s type
anyways, in terms of underbody kit... get the Wings West one, not the one offered by acura...
rims... wow 20's, that would be difficult... so would 19's, 18's are perfect if you ask me....
just wait a bit... i'm sure you'll hear more from more experts

If you're tight on $$ or don't know which wheels to get, consider just some good tires on the stock rims, springs and the factory body kit from some good cheap Acura dealer (like Bedford Hills, NY).
Consider the Wings West flush mount spoiler vs. factory rear.

1st off,
Welcome to the Forum! !
2ndly,
It depends on your financial situation and how badly you need a car.
~If you can wait, I would get the TL-Stype.

~Not much difference between the 2000 and 2001, if the price is the same, I'd go for the 2001.

~Body kits availible:
1)Factory
2)Wings West
3)Value Kit
4)Blaze Kit
I'm sure that there is more but I haven't seen yet.
I think that the Value Kit(ValueTL) is the nicest.....

but I got the Factory Body kit because:
1)It's a small kit, not to outrageous.
2)It has classy looks.
3)I financed it along with the car.

~As for the wheels!!!!!!
Personally 19"s are the perfect 19x7.5 with a major offset(atleast +44)
20"s not impossible but alot of modifications to be done(not worth it).

~As for the last question, It would be true if your plus sizing is taller than stock but it shouldn't matter if it stays the same height.

~Good Luck and let me know what car you picked!

I think the best looking kit's are the Value Kit and the Factory kit.

Both look pretty smooth and classy. The other kits I find are little to flashy and doesn't fit the car as well as the two mentioned above.

*A question, How much did you guys get your factory body kits + spoiler for? I got a quote of $2500 CDN (about $1700 USD.) Includes the whole kit, spoiler, painted and installed.

Can I do better than that, or are the prices pretty much the same everywhere?

Question

ValueTL, Did that come painted or do you still need to get it painted at a bodyshop?
