Personally, I always use Amoco first. If there isn't one around then I use Exxon next. But I really try to stick with these two as much as I can unless I am in the middle of nowhere and I might have to use Bubba's gas.

BP bought Amoco and Arco. They will be converting all the Amoco stations to BP. BP will continue to sell Amoco gasoline.

BP also bought Castrol Oil.

Bp bought Amoco and are in the process of converting all Amoco stations to BP branded stations. BP also bought ARCO for those on the West Cost.

Exxon bought Mobil.

Shell and Chevron mergered.

All companies buy and share each others gasoline and it all comes out of the same pipeline. The only thing that makes gasoline different by brand it the additive that is added when they
load the tanker truck.

I use Chevron since day one but, a few days ago I notice that the car was feeling weird, not bad but you know guys, like when you know something is not just right, so I put in Texaco for the first time and BINGO! the car felt strong again.
Texaco works for me know.

DJ5, Chevron and Texaco Merged...I've been useing Sunoco 93 lately. Its been 2 tanks now and my car has been running great on itl. Gas mileage seems to be up too, but I'm too much of an idiot to remember to reset the trip computer after I fill up to get a legit reading.

That's really wierd. Just up the street (my normal source) Exxon and BP are on opposite street corners in the same intersection.

I'd love to have a Texaco around here but there is none. Next is Sunoco 94, Mobile, but I usually wind up at Exxon because it's closest to my house and on Wednesdays Premium grade is the same price as middle grade.

I get whatever name brand I drive by as soon as I see my tank is low.

If I have a choice, I use Shell.

Gotta love Houston though, $1.48 for 93 octane.
