Best Color
OK I'm bout to buy an '03 TL-S this week and I'm second guessing myself about which color i like better. At the get there were two that i liked the best, Blue & Antrocite (grey) but now i don't know.
So now I'm just trying to find out all of your favorite colors for the '03 TL-S so that maybe it will help me chose mine

if i was gonna get an 03, it either be Anthracite, or Eternal Blue Pearl, but i dunno if there are only certain colors that Type-S comes in. in my are, Aegean blue pearl is way common.

Your color choices for the 03' Type-S are:
White Diamond Pearl
Satin Silver Metallic
Aegean Blue Pearl
Noble Green Pearl
Anthracite Metallic
and Nighthawk Black Pearl
The SSM is probably the easiest to take care of. The dark colors are great if you like detailing your car a lot and keep it swirl free. The white (what I have) can give away a kind of geriatric look but it looks real good if you get the factory wheels chromed or get aftermarket chrome wheels. The only two colors you'll have a choice of interior colors are the white and the black of black or parchment. The green is only available with a parchment interior. White paint with a black interior is supposed to be the rarest color combo sans the A-Spec.
A while back someone on here mentioned the 03' Type-S coming in one of the red colors (Firepepper Red Pearl or Redondo Red Pearl) but I've never seen one.

I have a SSM TL-S, I love it so much more then the ABP because of how it looks in the winter and summer...always looking clean! Right now my car if filthy but with the sun shining on it, it still looks clean. My friend has a blue Jetta and after a week it looks like a white car. I'm not crazy about the grey on the TL-S, I've seen them around but it just doesn't do anything for me, sorta like the green. No offense to anything who has either color, this is just my opinion. I'd go for the SSM or the ABP.

I lovvvvvvve my color (Anthracite) but many of the other cars are catching on so its not as unique as when I first brought a year and a half ago. My second choice would have been the Blue Pearl not that Aegean blue color. You will get sick of it quick!

if you are planning to get factory kit, stay far away from white diamond pearl. there is a big color match problem. i own a WDP 03 (purchased in august 03) myself and was disappointed when i got my kit. BTW, i got my kit when i had about 3k miles on my car. COLORS DO NOT MATCH!!
regarding the prevoius post with WDP... if you look at the kit's color and the body's color, there is a difference even in the photos. the kit's colors is noticeably brighter than the body of the car.

I went with Aegean Blue Pearl. Pics of members cars here swayed me in that direction. It definitly looks like a different car with the kit and lowered. Mines neither

IMO.....ABP looks the best but i think that after a year or two, your gonna get sick of the color.....so thats why I went with NBP.....their both hard to take care of but hey.....these 2 colors look the best and with many layers of Zaino.....so Sexy

Aegean Blue Pearl is the best. If there is one mistake I made on the car its getting NBP which is still beautiful but cant touch the ABP. Get the Blue Pearl and you wont regret it

i got my abp for almost 3 yrs now and i'm still loving it. it's like buying two colors for the price of one!!! that brilliant lighter blue color in bright sunlight and at dusk. dark blue even black in the darker hours. you would think abp is a fad color but i did not see many when i had bought mine. i see more now but it's still not considered a lot compared to other colors. anthracite is kinda rare.
well, go with what you like regardless of what others have.
i think you know my pick!

Anthracite Metallic works for me. I don't see too much around. Especially with the OEM bodykit. I feel *special*...lol. Oh yeah, I could have sworn that the local Acura dealership here in PHX had a WDP w/black leather interior. Just in case you're dealer wants to do a dealer trade.

My favorites are Laguna green and Monterey blue pearl, but they're not available anymore.
I would tell you to get black, or whatever Honda calls it. Black is always classic and professional no matter what.

grass is greener ...
Hey...
If I had the chance, I would go with ABP ... it looks really nice. When I got the car in 2001, the Type-S only blue option was eternal blue pearl (EBP). Stupid Honda -- that colour's available on Civics.
When I saw my friend's 6-speed CL-S ... that comes in ABP (in Canada) and the A-spec came in ABP. Dammit! I'm not gonna drop serious $$$ on a paint job.
When you park my car side-by-side with ABP car, I have to say, the ABP car looks really sharp. However, I've got the Zaino shine so my car *glows* when there's moonlight.
Where am I going with this? Go with what you want. You might wanna have something else down the road but that's 'cause we always want something different. I don't regret getting EBP (a Type-S exclusive colour for my model year in Canada along with white).
Good luck with your future TL-S!

Seems like WDP, Anthracite, and the famous ABP are the fav. colors of people. Boku, whatever you decide..remember..choose what YOU like. Oh, and around here...I see mostly NBP or ABP TL-S's...barely any SSM or WDP (weird) :p

at the ABP is too common comment. No, black and Silver are too common, but with ABP, you cant get enough of a good thing. Ive had my car since october and already lots track of the comments I get on the shade of blue. If you cant get ABP anthracite is the next best impo.
I love it, and you do too :o

I say the gray with a nice light tint looks nice and the blue is nice but a little more common. the gray also matched the s wheels nicely. Always liked that gray color..

I don't see too many ABPs out there. But there is a good number of blue (ther other blue) TL-Ps. That blue is not as good as ABP.
