Question Best ALARM SYSTEM for a TL?

ok, its a simple question and i need an answer. What alarm system on the market today is going to give me the most and best protection for a TL? What alarm will meet all of the following or come close to it atleast?.....
1.Make lots of noise and flashing lights
2.Motion sensors for the body and all windows
3. Cut the car off in the case of a possible breach
4. Lock the car up so that it can not be started or even hotwired
5. Give me a breach alert immediately on a wireless key chain reciever or somethin like that
6. Shows a flashing colored light in the corner of the window that the car is armed

In my opinion the Clifford Matrix or the Viper. They both can do all the stuff that you mentioned (1-6), but some of them you have to buy them seperately because it doesn't come with them. Now it all depends if you want remote start or not and if you want plug-n-play (Viper) or hard wire connections (Clifford). There's also a new feature on the non-remote starts, you can configure your sensitivity of the car from your remote but this is only for the non-remote start alarms. Hope this gives you some idea.

My persoanl favorite is the Autopage RS855 LCD. . . youd have to get the motion sensor seperate if you want that function. but it has many features, is a reputable company, and has classy looking products.

Well, so far your the second person to recommend clifford matrix to me so the shit must be good stuff. Yeah, if someone wants your car bad enough they will take it by any means even if they need a flat bed tow truck or something. But i want an alarm thats gona KILL MY CAR OFF ass soon as a window is broken that way they cant even start the car by hot wireing, or screw drivering, or any of that shit. ITLL JUST BE A DEAD CAR. Thats what i really want so that they HAVE TO BRING A FLAT BED TOW TRUCK TO TAKE IT IF THEY REALLY WANT IT THAT MUCH.

clifford matrix rsx 3.5 and the viper 791 are the same alarm, the only difference is the cover on the remote, viper is blue, clifford is carbon fiber, but u can buy and program either remote for either alarm.... personally i like the presitge platinum 996, the viper/clifford is a good alarm, but the 996 has all the same features and also the same options, plus it comes with an extra remote where the viper only comes with one remote.... oh yea, and from my own experience with both alarms, the pager remote on the viper runs out of battery a lot quicker than the 996.

Yeah, I got a Clifford Matrix RSX 3.5 and the battery runs out so easily. Got to replace the remote battery every month (well a little over a month). It must be that I use auto-start too much

My autopage 855LCD has all the features of the viper but also has temp sensors so you can start your car if its below a certin temp, auto start so i can start my car the same time everymorning automatically. . . . great if you on a regular schedule, and a pager which if you knock on the window will beep your 2way remote, a good setup if someone is running to your car to get something. i payed 300 installed w/ man to power door locks conversion. i got it installed thru a friend though. it was about 200 for goods and 100 install

Most high-end alarms from companies like AutoPage, Viper, Clifford(personal favorite) are comparable. If your really concerned with theft a custom fuel cutoff switch is also a good bet, I ran one on my Type-R for a year or so when I had it and never once was it stolen even with many attempts.

No matter what alarm you go with the biggest thing you need to ask yourself is how good is the install going to be. An alarm is only as good as the installation.

SEE, THATS EXACTLY WHAT I WANT. I WANT A CUTOFF SWITCH SO THAT NO MATTER WHAT A MOTHERFUCKER TRIES TO DO TO TAKE THE CAR, HE WONT BE ABLE TO START IT AT ALL AND WILL EITHER HAVE TO GIVE UP AND JUST LEAVE OR CALL UP A FLAT BED TOW TRUCK TO COME TOW IT AWAY WHICH IS A LITTLE TOO MUCH FOR A 99TL, WHEN THEY CAN DO THAT TO A BMW OR BENTLEY OR SOME SHIT. I JUST WANT MY CAR TO BE IMPOSSIBLE TO START NO MATTER WHAT THEY MIGHT TRY SO THAT THEY WILL GIVE UP AND LEAVE OR PHYSICALLY PICK THE CAR UP AND WALK AWAY WITH IT LMAO!!!! LOL HAHA
