Well I have gone thru 2 trannys and had numerous rattles. I have a 2002 TLS and I started the Better Business Bureau process against ACURA after the 2nd tranny. I was told my case against ACURA would be stronger after more signifancant problems. I put the case to the side late last year and shortly after I recieved news from ACURA. They sent me an extended Warranty for 6 years 100,000 mile on the WHOLE CAR. I also recieved the " QUIT YOUR CRYING WARRANTY (7 year 100,000 tranny warranty) that most of you recieved too. I wanted to hear some experiences any of you have had with this process if any. I like many of you did research before buying my 2002 TLS and with Acura/Honda badge I thought how could I go wrong? I planned on keeping my car for 10 years. This little 7-year 100,000 mile warranty is sh@@ to me. I'll drive 100,000 in about 2 more years. What do you guys think??? By the way my TLS is in the shop again and I reopened the case.
