Need to install headers and sways, need repair shop recommendations in the peninsula area.

Also, how long (and thus how much) should I expect for each install??

if you want to head over the san mateo bridge to hayward you can go to Motorsport Techniques. They have a lot of experience with aftermarket products. 510-783-8383 (cheap plug, they're my boys) =)

Hehe, just opened the phone book and saw a long ass list of performance places around the Bay Area. Don't know which one's good though cause I've gotten most of my stuff done in LA.

You go to them? I used to hang out there everyday when I went to Hayward State. If you ask ****, he should remember me with the Maroon 89 Integra with yellow rims

Really? I used to always be around when they first started in Dublin, then as they moved over to Hayward I went away for school. But I still occasionally go by to see whats new and borrow the owners suburban.
From what I hear one of the owners bought a MDX and put 18 in work wheels on it. Don't worry he was gonna put some big thick tires and he has no plans of lowering it. I can just imagine the look on peoples faces when I say he is putting 18's on his MDX.

hey, i forgot to mention I had an 89 integra. Bad a kit on it, shaved the doors and painted it bmw green. to be honest, the 89 integra was one of the worst cars. hated the torsion bar and i don't think i know of anyone who didn't have their front bumper sag down. hahahaa

I agree, the torsion bars sucked and the ride was so rough. One thing good about it though is that you can raise or lower your car anytime, easier than coilovers

I wonder if they still make alot of stickers there. What happened to their Civic with a GSR engine turbocharged? Last time I saw it, it had cracked the cylinder wall, overboosting.

the turbo got pulled out and they sold the car with a ls motor in it. he has a new project a custom blue 86 civic hatchback that will either sport a prelude or type r motor. i wonder have i seen you areound there before. i had a green civic hatch with a gsr motor, about the same time they had their black one, both cars were done by the same mechanic.

I wouldn't pay more than $60 to $90. The book says it is about an hour for both front and rear, so don't pay more than an hour of labor.

Which dealer did you go to? Their book time is 1 to 1.5 hours for both front and rear. Try another dealership.
