Ball Joint advice

Morning everyone, so my car is lowered on h&r and bilstien shocks....

recently its making the famous "thump" noise from my front right and left sides. After some digging around I know now that its my ball joints...
I will be selling my car next year and debating on whether to change them or not to change them...
If i change them, i will be changing them for the 3rd time for the ingalls adjustable control arm with ball joints.

Upper or lower? Uppers you can buy the whole control arm with it for around 70 bucks which comes with new bushings. A ball joint isnt something i would let go. If its popping now its worn out. It breaks and you could loose the wheel causing a nice accident.

is it really an accident if you knew it was going to happen?

ball joints are serious biz--failure is waiting around the next corner

Is your car sitting on the ground? whats causing repeat failure--using good parts?

^^ ditto on the above advice. Replacing the ball joint will be the least of your worries once it decides to let loose.

If you keep having to replace them something in your suspension geometry is definitely not right. Are you running the correct camber and toe angles? I would definitely get an alignment check when you replace the joint this time.

And most likely a f'd up fender.
If your selling the car.
The people that test drive the car will hand you back the keys not wanting to deal with it.
New uppers will only be around 25 bucks.

Unbolt the shock fork and remove, remove the speed sensor, remove the axle nut, remove the brakes, separate the upper and lower ball joint, and remove.
