backlight for 99 3.2TL dash clock

Silly question but I'd like to know if the dash clock on a '99 3.2TL (above the climate controls) has a back illumination with the dashlights on. Can someone check theirs and tell me?

I had an aftermarket radio installed and the installer did some damage to that area of the dash. I can't remember whether there was originally a light there or not. Thanks.

Hey.. if you need any extra light bulbs for the clock, I might have some laying around for you.. still interested? I wouldn't mind just sending it you if you just pay for the postage

Good question! Mine is out too, and it's been bugging the heck out of me. So once I get a bulb, is it hard to replace??

Johnny, I have the same problem as you. Happened a few weeks ago. It's driving me nuts, especially at night while driving. This morning I also noticed my dashboard light is out too (doesn't it come on when you start up the car?) Maybe I'm imagining things but I seem to recall it at least being dimly lit and now, nothing. Indicator lights come up fine when I start up but the dash only lights up when I turn on the headlights.

If this is an easy thing to install, please let me know? I'll have my brother pick up the parts from Acura near his house and install them for me.

The dash only lights up when the lights are on.

Its a very easy fix.

Use this DIY to get the dash panel off to get to the bulbs

Two years now I have had my clock light out and I decided to fix this yesterday by replacing it with an LED along with replacing other stock bulbs with PnP bulbs as well:

do you honestly think, in america, using the american standard measurement system (fahrenheit for degrees) that anybody would want their car 18 degrees. think about it, hellll no. ice would be coming out of the vents
