Baby Blue TL unveiled (pics)
This 2001 TL belongs to a friend of mine up in Boston, he's not on the forum, but we started to talk on AIM awhile ago and he told me he was working on his TL. It's got the 2002 TL bodykit custom molded on and also painted Baby Blue (sorry his pics were bad, esp second one).
It's got the comptech exhaust, Type S rims, NeuSpeed swaybars, AEM cold air intake & bypass valve, AEM pulley, Apexi WS Coilovers, Fuel Regulator, Bosch Platinum 4 spark plugs, K40 built in radar dectector.

NICE!! First custom painted TL huh?? OOPS... 2nd, l999TL was the first.... Im doing the same exact setup on the kit!! O well, now i kno it looks good He needs to slap some fogs on there!! Anymore pics of the front?

I will try to get more pics of it asap. But that's all he had for the time being...I posted it as soon as I got it. His name is Von, he's up in Boston, so maybe some of you Boston people may know him....he will be attending shows with the TL so look out for him, he'll be representin the TL's for sure.

I have no idea how he did it. It was done at a bodyshop, so if you find a bodyshop good enough they can do it, anything's possible if you are willing to shell out the $$$.
Personally I wouln't have done this, but yea I do give him mad props for doing it. If it was me I would have gone with one of the Japanese kits to be different. But hell it's a nice job.
Anyways, like I said as soon as he gives me more pics I will post it. He told me that he tried to register a few times but it didn't work that's why he's not on the forums. He doesn't get online that much anyways.

The 99-01 TL front with the 02 front poiler makes the car look much better than the 02's. That's just my opinion. It looks so much meaner. That is def. my summer project.

guys you need to look at the whole picture to figure out the mod. The 2002 Tl's headlight are the same as the 1999-2001 except they have thouse stupid round sections. If you look closer at the headlights you'll see where the bumper was switched for a 2002 and the bondo is there. Very good job though, have been thinking about that mod ever since the 2002 came out

I thought they changed the headlights in 2001??? those look the the headlights from the 99. Was it the 2002 that had the new heads?? Regardless, nice ride, I like the grille and front of the car period...

Personally, I love baby blue. Carolina blue, sky blue, navy blue...all blues. Baby blue is the shiiii....i had already mentioned to my friend how phat it would be to paint the TL "Ferrari Baby Blue", but it looks like someone already beat me to it.
