AZ Heat and Armrest???

Not sure if anyone has seen this as a problem or if this is particular to my car. The AZ heat seems to make plastics a bit soft and this issue is indicated when my armrest pops open because the latch is no longer holding it closed. Any thoughts? I am thinking of bringing it in to Dealer, but then again, I wanted to see if this is an issue that I can solve, etc.

I've had the TL-S since March of 2001. Thanks for your responses!

J

Its a problem that has happened to a number of people, most have just taken it back to the dealer so they can adjust the latch.

Yea, that actually happened to me in Cali. I just had the latch replaced and tightened at the dealer today. It seems to be fine now.

That's under warranty for sure. They replaced my latch a couple of months ago.

I had my car since April 28, 2001
