I'm just gonna chime in with my info although I just did it last weekend. IMO most of this info is interesting in that the swap appears to work, however my old tranny lasted 150k miles so I wouldn't consider even 10k on an AV6 to be indicative of a any huge improvement in reliability. We can only hope.

That said, 2002 TL Type S. 206k miles when my 2nd tranny failed (post 2005, blue bolts RMK reman). Replaced with 2007 Accord tranny, with just shy of 50k miles on it.

I have about 300 miles on it so far. It's almost perfect except for a small delay in engaging 2nd gear under full throttle. Not sure if this is normal, all other gears seem to shift immediately. I may try to adjust the solenoids some time.

Yeah it's literally like 5 extra minutes of work to remove the axles and everything is way easier with them out of the way.

FYI after a bit of driving the 2nd gear shifting has smoothed out and appears to engage normally.

So, now have 210K on the TL, about 4K miles on the new tranny. I was actually not totally satisfied with the 1-2 shift as it seemed too soft, especially under full throttle and when the car was cold. I used the Sonnax solenoid adjustment tool (Solenoid Adjustment Tool - 88950-T - Sonnax) to increase pressure on solenoid B (which affects 1-2 upshift, 3-4 upshift). It seems a lot better, although there is a slight jerk when cruising at a moderate speed, then flooring it enough to downshift all the way to 2nd. But I'll deal with that.

Here is some video of the shifts now. Wish I had taken some before to compare. https://goo.gl/photos/mHuX9zEG9evhfD5f7.
