Audio Question

I know there are some adapters to put and aux in on our stock radio (possibly behind cd player) I was just wondering which one is the best I'm so tired of my stupid radio transmitter.

Easiest bet will be using a 3.5mm to Cassette adapter as mentioned above.

If you're up for the work/challenge (not even that hard) TAKE OUT THE BOSE SYSTEM. In all honestly it is a POS. I ran ALL new wires and equipment in my car and the bose could NEVER come close to my system now.

A simple Deck swap and speaker drop in would make a world of a difference. You could get a new middle grade deck and middle grade speakers for the whole car for under $300 and the world of a difference it will make.

Keep in mind if you do decide to ditch the bose deck, you will loose functionality of your 8" sub. You can get it to work again but it is tricky (MANNYYYY threads about that issue here). But I got rid of the 8" sub and prettty much now serves as a open port for my subs.

Yeah sorry I would have I'm usually good with that but I was on my Droid. I want a new system but my wallet doesn't so this was just temporary till I get a system hopefully next summer. Then i'll just sell my adapter to my sister or someone. Thanks for the input guys.

Yeah I bought my adapter back in March 2010 thinking it would be temporary as well. Then I realized that the stock Bose sound system was sufficient for my needs so I didn't upgrade until recently. I replaced all 4 door speakers with Clarions and it sounds awesome. Don't see a need to amp them. The Monster has been one of my best purchases.

But it depends on how loud you listen to music.

For the week that I had my bose system I used a Sony Tape adapter and it worked well.

You can get a deck WITH USB and 3.5 AUX jack and at least 4 pre-amp out's for ~$100. with a $10-20 harness adapter and a $20 dash kit and youre set!

IMO better off getting the Deck just for now. You can manage to get one will all needed accessories for $150. Not too bad, itll be a nice xmas gift to yourself.
