Attn: All 2001 TL owners, Engine Oil Leak Problem...
I just got this letter today from Honda Auto Division.
Damn my scanner is Sh!tty. Who else got the letter?

I didnt get the letter yet, but I wonder if this applies for all TL's.

I'm surprised that the letter was not written on Acura letterhead, and that it did not direct you to an Acura dealership for repair.
Perhaps this was sent to you by mistake?

I got that letter. It was'nt for the TL though. It was for my 94 Accord EX. They had the Accords VIN# on it. I also got a letter from Acura with Acura letterhead. The letter looked the same and was sent out from the same address as Honda's letter. The Acura letter didn't say anything important though.

hey, Black TL, how you like your EX? Kinda wished I had bouht an EX years back. I had an LX '97 and liked it, but a few things really irritated me: alternator very weak - could sense engine speed dropping in direct time w/ turn signals. interior molding came lose at conosle, heather mist metallic paint was 'splotchy' (all HMMs had that problem). also, engine was kinda rough and metallic-sounding, my '85 prelude ran like buttah, couldn't hear/feel it at idle. oh, yeah - it was even smoother than my TL!

bdimc - do you have another honda vehicle? other than your TL? Seems we have some conflicting accounts of this letter.

I just checked my mail and I recieved one for the Honda Accord that we have in our family. But it had the VIN number of the Accord and not the TL.
so are you sure you got it for the TL? I also got one about emissions testing refunds.

Gee, thanks guys for letting me know, I never, ever got one of these letters in my 5 year history of owning cars. It could be for the 95 Honda Accord my dad has. When I get home, I gotta look up the VIN#. Thanks for letting me know guys, you are the greatest!

Hey guys good new! It's not for the TL at all sorry mispost. I just looked up the VIN # and my father has a 1995 Accord, it was for the Accord, I never gotten one of these letters before, so I was alittle confused, also b/c I never bought a new car b4 either. I thought you only get these types of letter when you have a new car.
