hey guys,
i have a 2002 tl-s i bought 6 months ago. i was wondering how your leather is holding up? any complaints or comments? the reason im asking is everyone here on the forum are complaining about the poor quality leather.
i've been conditioning my leather monthly with lexol. if you guys are doing the same, do see any improvements?
thx for the info!!!!

I've got just over 36,000 and everything looks great. No tears, etc. I've only had the car 1 month and I haven't treated the leather yet. I also don't know how the guy who owned it before me took care of the leather but it is in good shape (bought it from a dealership so they may have treated it). I'm looking to treat it sometime soon to get into the habit of doing it every couple of months.

The areas most prone to deterioration are the places where your skin comes in contact with the leather, i.e. where your elbow rest, the back of your calves, behind your knees and thighs. Pay special attention to those areas and clean the sweat/salt on the leather. I clean my leather 2x a year and condition 4x a year. It is still looking great!
