The fact that your considering getting rotors and pads from Crappy Tire is bad enough in itself. That crap is a joke man. Start looking at some reliable, well built performance rotors that will actually hold up in the long run.

agree with the above posts. i've never heard of that particular brand. do a search - this has been discussed more times than i can count - to find what brands are used on this site for reliable braking power.

is the car and its occupants safety important to you?

The stock brakes sucked- spend the money to get better stuff and
one day (or more) you will bring the car home the same length it left in the morning...
while several other cars stacked together,, and you were stopped/slowed BEFORE the scene of the accident~

cant tell you how many times a certain wife has come home from another day of inattentive high speed driving--the kind where suddenly its nothing but brake lights ahead and you are going ~80

she says--WOW these brakes stop REALLLLY GOODD!!

I'm going to be more helpful with this post and link you to the Canadian site that I dealt with. They deal with TONS of good manufacturers and the customer service is top notch. Find what you like (try EBC brakes, Rotora, Hawk, etc.) and then fill in a part inquiry. I had a guy from them call me the same day and send an email with prices and a shipping quote.

ATE are a very good company making automotive brake products. ATE used to(and still on some models, G500, G55, ML, etc.) supply their products to Mercedes Benz vehicle, until MB decided to go cheap. I say go with ATE, I have never heard anything bad about them.

BTW, I have Hawks HPS Pads and Ebay rotors. The pads are terrible, why? Terrible bite when they are cold, brake fade when hot. And its not my rotors, bc i swap my old pads("Wear Ever" Brake pads from advance auto) onto my new rotors after my Hawk pads were broken in. Let me tell you, I wish I never bought them Hawk HPS. If you want Hawk Pads, Go with HP Plus.

To answer your original question, I have been running ate premium rotors [the ones that have a groove that looks like an electron's orbit] for over a year if I recall correctly. I got them from tire rack along with akebono street performance pads. I really like this combination and would recommend it to anyone. The pads have good grip even cold, no dust, and noise free. The rotors have remained true.{no track use, average to spirited driving} I have installed several sets of these rotors on a variety of cars where I previously had run into warping and or noise problems and have only had positive responses. I get the impression from some of the responses that people haven't heard of ate. They've been around longer than most of the brake brands mentioned on this forum, and are an oe supplier. They are more well known in europe, but have been expanding more over here recently.

Arrow Brakes...

Thanx Guyz for ur input. I'll check out out more brands too, & see what i can afford at the same time.
One more thing, if the brake fluid have never been flushed & im changing all the rotors & pads (Front & Rear), do u recommend flushing the fluid 2? If so, is it better to flush be4 putting the new brakes on or after running a few miles on the old fluid?

It is better to flush (bleed) first, because you have to push the piston way back up into the caliper to fit the fat new pads in. This pushes the dirtest fluid inside the caliper back up into the system. If you have already flushed (bled), you will have good clean fluid throughout and no worries.

ATE is a decent brand. There is nothing wrong with them.
