ok so i did my ac controls and clock and everything with the led kit from ledautomotive, and already half of them have burned out. i want to do puddle lights, but i do not want to have to keep replacing them (hastle wise) so if wired correctly, will they be reliable and not just die every few months?

 

Something isn't right if they're burning out quickly. LEDs should last for years before they burn out. You might want to recheck your install and make sure something else isn't causing the premature burn outs.

 

I heard of that happening but only with ledautomotive I dont think they have the right resistors in them

 

take them out, put them in and before assembling everything, make sure they work. the leds will only work one way when u put them in. make sure its the right way.

 

they worked fine for like a month. i made sure they worked before i put them in
