arghhhhh

I just picked up my second speeding ticket going 82. This sux, cuz i was going 75, and i went over a bump on the freeway that made my foot slip and push on the accelerator a little harder, which pushed me to 82. then i realized that the cop car was tailing me. I cant pay for this sh!t. what am i to do? can i argue the ticket and get out of it somehow by going to court or something?

you can go to court, if the officer doesn't show up, you won. If he shows up and you get convicted then you pay the court cost too........sowwie. umm what are you going to argue? my foot slip and that's what made me speed? Pay more attention and get 8500 or V1 or atleast a cheap cobra....my cobra saved my ass on the turnpike countless time. Only time I got a ticket was going 100, he pulsed radar on me and i braked and he only caught me doing 82 in 70 zone instead of 100........but since the cop was tailing you, guess he didn't radar you and just had to match speed....tsk tsk.....bad luck too man, goodluck with whatever you're going to do. (hope you don't get insurance increase too)

Pacing is easy to take to court. Between myself and 3 other buddies we all have had at least one ticket like that and have never paid for any of them. The argument is that there is no way to tell, without a speed checking device, what your speed is. The officers (or yours for that matter) spedo could be off by 2 miles and hour and that may put you in a different fine bracket, so if you cant be sure, be nothing
