unless you have $460 to throw away...dont do it! Really dont ever go to the dealership for routine maintenance (the 30/45/60miles ones...). Your car doesnt need to see the dealership unless its a warranty issue. As long as you keep your fluids changed (oil, tranny) you will be fine till 100k at least w/o any major maintenance. Then people change the spark plugs...thats about it. These cars will last and last if you take care of them - you can do everything yourself in other words. The dealer will way overcharge you for virtually nothing done by them.

agreed. unless you feel like wasting money, most of them are completly unnecessary. just keep up with your normal oil and filter changes, occasional air filter, and tranny fluid change. once approaching 100k then look into a little maint. like the timing belt, water pump change

I'm at 29,630. Just about to make the appt for my 30k service. I NEVER do their "package" deals. I only have done things that actually need to be done (oil, tires, etc). I recently changed the air filters (engine and cabin) myself.

Just do oil and filter changes, air filter changes, tire rotation, and a tranny fluid change. When you get to around 105,000 then get the timing belt, water pump, brake fluid flush, and that type of stuff done. Save your money until then.

I just did all the big stuff and I have 108,000 on my car. Before that all I did was what I mentioned above.
