hell yeah.took forever but they got my vtec at a perfect straight up slope for the horsepower =) and after about 15 dyno runs they finally got it tuned wit 20hp and 19lb torque...........when i drive it feels a lot smoother (power wise) and they said they'd hook me up for a re-tune when i get headers

where is the bull**** flag when you need it...

I got 3 hp and 2ft/lbs when I had mine pro tuned on the dyno...and I have FAR more mods than you...we were able to creat a completely flat horsepower curve and a flat torque curve tho....

hmm..........i bought mine used for 200 of a gsr and installed it for 75....tuning cost me 125 but its worth it cuz u get power and they dyno it like 15 times..........

anyways, they first dynoed the car and saw the power and how the slope was...there were big gaps where the power dropped and rose up again..........thats how they figure out when for vtec to kick in so itll be a steady upward slope........

air/fuel wise, i kinda watched them tune it and the dyno shows the ratio at each rpm and he said that it is best to have a steady line near 13 at the end to get the most power.....so they changed settings and ran dynoes for about an hour and i guess they gave up on me =(...but i still pulled out 20 hp and 19 torque

when i accelerate my car, i can tell how much smoother the power is evened out and when im pulling on the highway i can feel the extra 20 hp at the high end

I understand that you need a OBD II bypass to keep the gains. Otherwise, the computer will ajust a/f and so on to get back to the original emission settings. I guess you can pull the fuse every week or disconect the battery.

I had it done in Toronto, by Yoshio of japanese Automotive, arguably the best Jap tuner in the province.
