Post Apexi V-AFC...

Hi~ Everyone, can someone tell me how many horse power gain after put on the V-AFC?? and would the Check engine light come on after you lnstall it?? Thanks

Do a search on it... someone just did a dyno test, I believe he gained about 5hp...

Yea AC has the it and said he gained 5 horses. Not much for a $400 or something toy.

Yeah I only gained 5HP but I'm very happy cuz I got to adjust my power curve, fuel/air ratio and VTEC engagement.

I have the V-AFC in my TL too and the damn check engine light came on after I had it for about two months. I brought it to the dealer and the computer read V-tec failure.

You gentlemen need to remember that our cars are OBD3......your computer learns around all the electronics in a few cycles. Reset your ECU and then drive.....when the light is on do it again, you'll see what I'm saying....

OBD3? are you sure? I coulda sworn they were only OBD2...

Nope the Gen 2 is ODB3 that;s why it's taking so long to progam the new chips...I have an SAFC in my Gen 1 and it complements my mods nicely...But to truely get the most bang, you have to get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to feed the fuel hungry beast...
