ive had one replaced under warranty, just wondering if anyone has had rusting probs with it

 

no rusting probs. i had it for the whole winter w/o cleaning it n it did not rust when i took them off. a lil oxidation but blue magic took it all off.

i think the earlier batches of ct exhausts had rusting problems. did u get yours recently?

the first one i got about 3 years ago. a rust hole appeared after 18months

hopefully the new one will be ok

 

mine had a little on it from the salt from the winter, but i used a little polish and now they new

 

I live in California, rust is forming around the connection of the CT exhaust and the stock piping. I bought my CT exhaust used....was wondering what warrenty policy they have? Do you need to shop them an invoice for warrenty? Lifetime or limited warrenty?

 

I thought Comptech exhaust were stainless steel? Stainless Steel shouldn't rust!

 

The welds and connection to the Y pipe aren't.
