I was told that if I hear ticking or pinging I should go back to get the bolt tightened. It's possible that the bolts lossen because OBX headers do not fit perfectly and if you push your car the headers can shift very very slighty but enough to loosen a bolt.

Okie guys i finally installed the obx headers on my Tl also , i notice the high end gains, but low end sucks. I had installed four sets of obx headers SS, no problem no fitment issues for me it took 2-3 hours for each, but installation of the Stone headers took me 5 hours because it didn't want to go on. But i love my OBx headers considering it is only $400 bucks , and i had compared the stone headers to the OBx the look the same. Yeah the problem is the O2 sensor too close to the tranny that kinda got me worried but everything is tight and it feels good, i might consider thermal wrap to keep the engine from being too hot but heard good and bad things about it. They say thermal wrap is bad for the headers because the heat does not decipate fast enough so its bad for the headers. But if you don't wrap it then the engine and other components are exposed to the excessive heat, To wrap or not to wrap?
