Question Anyone tried the New Turtle Wax???

I figure Turtle Wax has realized anyone that actually cares about their car would never consider using thier wax. There has been some real cheezy commercials lately for their new "Platinum Series High Gloss Wax"

lol there's this guy in the commercial . "I've used mothers and meguiars, but nothing is like this new stuff!! What? it's new Turtle Wax Platinum!! Wow!!"

I figure this wax is fifty times better than the origional turtle wax but I don't think it would be anywhere near Meguiars, Zaino or Mothers (never used but is is spoken highly about here).

Has anyone been able to actually compare the new turtle wax to our regular brands???

I've been using meguiars and eagle 1 for a while. I don't think I'm going to change. If I tried this new wax, I'd try it on my moms car first.

I've been using it and am pleasantly surprised. Works really well. I wasn't aware there was such a prejudice against TW products... I don't think I would have bought it to start with!

It's a wax that has a mixture of carnuba & montan that is available as a liquid or a paste. It also contains fillers to "hide" minor scratches and swirls. IMO, TW doesn't have the durability or longevity as some of the other OTC or boutique products. BTW, this is an old thread and haven't seen any posts from ResidualFreedom in quite sometime.
