I just bought the piaa 1700x fogs for my TL, and the salesman claimed that it was imperative that I switch to the piaa 9005 high beams becuase the color was so brilliant. I told him that I would wait on that.

Any thoughts?

i have the 1700xs and i think they're fine...i must admit, the lens color seems weird when contrasted with my dark emerald pearl but im pleased with the illumination.

I have PIAA 1700x on my black TL and it looks perfect with the HID.

i got the 1700x and i like them. and replaced my high beam bulbs wiht PIAA bulbs, but i did it b/c i wanted to not b/c i was recommended to......
