In some stores, I've seen where you can replace your tail light bulbs with LED's. Has anyone tried this and how does it Look?

I have tried it and it does'nt look very good in my opinion. Here is why.
Our taillights are designed for bulbs that give off radial illumination which relects off of the chrome plated plastic in our tails, this lights up the whole tailight area. Led's on the other hand jus look like 4 lowly dots, and the difference b/w brake on/ brake off is minimal. Not worth the time or money...

 

Thanks--I was wondering if indeed that would be the case. I will "opt" out of this mod.
