I bought an 02-03' oem tail light off ebay and the cover over the turn signal bulb is rattling around in there...
Do I have to bake it and pry it apart uggh?
or can I just unscrew and mess with some tabs?
I don't wanna ruin it
Thanks In Advance,
Doc

I'm pretty sure you have to bake it to pull it apart. The lamps are sealed to prevent moisture from getting inside the assembly.

I bet its like the front housing in that a cover is held in place by an external screw, a ground wire or similar may be involved with that screw
I dropped the bulb cover inside my old front housings and rattled it around and was retrieved with little effort.
Ask any acoustic guitar player for the correct shake and flip to get the thing back out
Same idea as dropping a guitar pick inside.
You will need to remove the housing from the car, but not destroy the housing- is my hopeful guess~

i bought an oem 02-03 tail about a week ago and the same thing happened to me. all i did was stick my fingers in the hole for the turn signal bulb and moved it back into place. just move it over and it has little tabs that snap back into place.
Hmm... I was trying to use a hook / fingers to get that piece to snap back into place. I can get it to almost line up with my fingers but how on GOD'S GREEN EARTH lol
jk but how can I pull it forward enough to snap it back in place... I wonder if the dealership has some kind of tool to do it? I'm about to call them and see what they say.
I'd rather not bake and reseal, but I don't want to install this baby if that clear piece isn't secure
