Anyone interested in a s2000 push start button diy + purchase?

Hey guys. I've been reading up on the s2k start button for a while, and from the looks of it, I would be able to test it on my TL when i get it back (hopefully this weekend ). No flamers please. I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but if you don't like the idea, then don't read about it.
If it works as expected, I plan to make the kit and sell it back with directions for the TLs, CLs and possibly some others if i can get my hands on the wiring diagram.
How many of you would be interested in a pre-made kit with a genuine s2000 start button?
The kit would include everything you need such as the button, the harness, the relay, and very detailed instructions which I can print up and include in your purchase or you can find it on here .

Lemme know what you guys think. If i can get maybe 5+ people in this, then i can probably make it at a good price to you guys. Let me know what you think!
The final product will look something similar to this, but slightly different because this is the basic design i see from the other forums.

someone told me people wont be able to hotwire your car if it's hooked up via push start?

The nice thing about the TL is that theres the immobilizer on your car, so unless you have the key in the ignition and the ecu is reading the transponder on your key, they cant crank the engine. Have you seen how a s2000 push start works? you basically put your key in and turn it all the way, then press the start button. That's what I'm aiming to do for my car, but the other option is tapping the ignition so that the push button will work when you have your key in it and you can still turn your car on the old fashioned way.

You're looking at around 80-90 including shipping and possibly less if i could find a way to source the parts. I'm not planning to use second rate parts, so everything will be first rate for the longevity of the unit.

That would totally be up to you. You cant mount it anywhere that has space. Whether its next to your shifter, by your ignition, or where the cigarette adapter is. I plan to relocate my cigarette adapter and put the start button where the cigarette adapter is. Not in plain sight

I just took a peek at the console on some random tl on ebay. From the looks of it, there might actually be space right next to the climate control. I have no way to verify that though because I dont have my car with me so i cant see whats behind that console area.

^ & ^^ The way that my friend has it in his Supra is that the key no longer starts it. You still need it to turn to II, but you push it to start. It's coming back in style and is not considered as rice as it used to because more and more cars are coming with a start button.

Good luck with it!

~Cheers~
