Anyone interested in porting there throttle bodies?

My freind is going to start porting tl and tl-s throttle bodies, would any of you be interested ?

ive seen good gains from doing this, just want to see what you have to say

im in miami and i want this... BADLY! does he have the ability to port match the manifold as well?

Some CL-S guys had this done before f/i and they actually lost power. They indeed used king Motorsports (I saw them mentioned in another thread recently), but the gains weren't there with other simple bolt-ons...

Please explain what porting is and would do? I've never heard this term before.

are you sure about this? scalbert once mentioned that it is pretty much a waste if you DON'T port match the intake manifold (which is why i asked if he can do it). maybe this is what you are reffering too?

From what I recall, he was doing all of that right before the s/c and installed the s/c midship...

Again, I am sure the t/b would be better using f/i than not...

he will be able to port match the manifold no problem.

it would be like 85 bucks to bore the throttle body and i have to check on the port matching. of course i could talk to him or something.

but ive seen lots of his work thats gained almsot 10hp just from this.

i just talked to him and he said abotu 250 for throttle body and port matching. im going to do this i think and let you guys know how it works out
