I reported him... no one rips off a future acurazine member I sent crag'slist an email telling them the type-s didn't comein 2001, that the car in the sale was a 2001 due to the body style, and the seller was obviously attempting to fraud someone because they have the type-s rims on it, the type-s badge on it, the 3.2 TL badge moved to the position to accomidate the type-s badge AND they say it is a TL-S.. if thay did all the above but said it was a TL that would be shady but still legal.. saying it is a type s would raise the cost dramatically, espically becasue it would raise the year of the car if someone tired to look up the value...

Those are CL-S wheels. At least the seller didn't try to label it as a 4-door CL.

What exactly does TL stand for? Total Luxury? TL-S = Total Luxury - Sport?

 

CL-S wheels are slightly different than TL-S wheels. You can tell by looking at them...So yes those are CL-S wheels.

 

Really? interesting.... care to tell me the difference.. I actually pulled up a quick pic of each rim before I posted, " I can't see a difference, can you see a difference?" (Used to be a line from an old ABC laundry detergent commencial)

Is it the little rim on the outer edge of the TL-S rim? It may not be on the CL-S rim, I can tell if it is the picture or not.. I was never that good at finding Waldo...

 

CLS spokes are narrower at the top and stick out more closer to the lip than the TLS ones.

The CL-S wheels are 7" wide and the spokes are a bit "flatter"than the TL-S wheels. The TL-S wheels are 6.5" wide and have a little more of a bulge at the top of each spoke. It's easy to see once you know what to look for. I hope that helps...
