It seems that the couple of pics I found were all done on cloudy days which makes the car look really dark. I've also seen 2 on the road, but it was at dusk, so they looked dark too. I like the way the blue looks in the brochure, but from what I've seen in person it looks different. Thanks in advance!!

The aegean blue looks nice. However in person and in daylight the car looks like a bright purplish blue, and real doesn't fit the car. It is very similar to the civic si and prelude blue. It looks nice on these cars, but not on mid size luxury car, but then again that is just my opinion!

Yeah, it seems to depend what the lighting is and everytime I've seen it (pictures or on the road), it's been dark and looks black. I know we have several blue members here and I'm hoping one of them has a picture when it's sunny so I can get a true sense of the color. I'm actually hoping it's near that kind of blue you mentioned, but from what I've seen, it's a lot darker....

I cant actually post a picture but I have a little story. I have been looking for TL-S's since the end of March and have only seen one. It was the aegean blue, and it looked amazing. It was a sunny day and despite what others say, I believe the car looked simply amazing.

Well I know one things for sure - I've gotten so many compliments on the color of my car, so I'd say most people like it.

To each his/her own...

P.S. I'm still debating whether or not to buy a digital camera. Taking pics of my car and posting it here is making me lean towards buying it!

Trippin: Who did your window tinting?

It's a local detail / tint shop called Bumper 2 Bumper. For those in Southern California, they are in Westlake Village on the Los Angeles / Ventura county border. The dealer that I bought the car from did not do window tinting, but it actually worked out for me because I really like the work that Bumper 2 Bumper did.

It's 20% on the rear 3, 50% on the front side windows. Non-metallic tint on the back window, which might not last as long but won't mess with the radio reception.

I'm going to have to see a black and a blue TL-S side-by-side to make a definite decision when I buy, but that blue is gorgeous! Nice tint, too.

Those were cool pics. I just drove my new TL-S from the dealer TODAY! Heads were turning almost all the way home...or was it my imagination? I hope to take a photo tomorrow.

this is the exact same question i had been thinking about today! i even went to the dealer where i test drove one but it was sold and off the lot already. but i did see another abp car...the cl-s! it looks like it's not specific to the tl-s anymore.

hehe, no way. I'm 18, so I still live with my parents who decided to sell this house to move to a new house a few miles away. And besides, do you know how many TL-S's I could buy with the proceeds from the house? I would probably have more TL-S's in my "fleet" than the dealership around here has sold since they came out, and I live in an area where they sell like hot cakes!

Does your Aegean blue have the underbody kit yet? Just curious if the national backorder is slowly coming to an end.

Yup, I love the color. You won't regret it. I just need to get a duster so I can keep dust off of the car. You don't notice it from far away, but it bothers me to have a car that is even slightly dirty. This is my baby.

Ona side note, I meet some of my new neighbors today. I was pulling into my driveway, adn I had just backed into my garage when I noticed two people standing at the end of my driveway.

I asked them if I could help them and he asked me if my car was a 2002, adn how he had loved the color and really wanted to get one. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He only lives 3 houses over from me, but he was looking at the TL-P and didnt know that Aegean blue only came with the S. Hopefully he doesnt get one in the same exact color. Id rather he get the bimmer like in that other post

Any Blue with Body Kit and Spoiler?

I got my Aegean Blue TL-S yesterday! I love it, except the dust is showing already. Maybe the dealer will wash it when I pick up my plates/reg.
