anyone have front plate hole fillers?

I have seen them on Integra's and Civic's, but has anyone tried it on their TL, the little blastic button to fill in your holes where the front plate goes?

the dealer should have some extra on hand. as far as my 06 TL, I just went back and asked for them back (since you did pay for them when you bough the car). Thomas acura service dept was cool and went out back and found the color matched ones...gave them to me for free. I have heard other people getting charged up to 22 bucks for two! Crazy...dealers should provide those for you without asking.

Every TL since at least year '00 has had two under bumper threaded holes for mounting the front plate? Why have some dealer hacked the cars by drilling the face of the front bumper?

I would like to know that too. Mine was mounted from underneath with no damage to the front side

Ditto, the plate should be on a bracket that mounts to holes underneath the bumper so it's not visible without getting under the car. It's like $20 for the bracket, maybe the dealer that sold you your car was being a cheapass?

I just removed the front license plate bracket from my '04 TL and the hole covers were stored between the rubber plugs and the mounting screws of the bracket.

some dealers installed the license plate bracket by securing it underneath and also in front of the bumper (extra holes were drilled) probably to secure it in place without the bracket moving around. He's asking if the civic/teg plugs will plug the front holes.

We know what hes asking, but like i said the civic had threaded holes (the bumper was manufactured with holes in it and not just drilled in by some idiot dealer) that teh tabs press into to stay. wont hurt to try them out. i paid like 12 bucks for mine for my civic when i had it. Try them and see if you can use the adheasive glue to hold them in place

Thats what I am going to try. The make the plugs in Vogue Silver Metallic for the Integras, so I am going to buy them and try to modify them a little work.
