Anyone eles have this problem???

I have a 03 tl with 28150 miles on it. That is way to many.

My problem is when I get into the car to go down the street to a 7eleven I end up driving all around town. Twice.

I just dont want to stop driving it.

My miles are racking up though.

Does anyone eles have this problem???

Should I see a doctor??

Wow that is a lot. I just bought a 2002 TL-S with 28,000 less than a month ago and I already have 30,000 miles! So I know the feeling there buddy.

I find excuses to run out of the house and pick up bogus stuff at the store and then I take the long way home.

It is getting to be expensive on gas.

Hopefully I'll get bored of my car soon and not want to drive it so much.

Yeah, it's called cruising- a hard habit to break.

I am up to 41k miles on my 02 TL but unlike you I am getting sick of driving so much. There is almost always stop and go traffic on the highways where I drive, plus all the squeaks and rattles in the car can get downright annoying. As soon as i fix one, another seems to creep up on me. I dont always feel like listening to my stereo, so i often wish i'd bought the totally quiet cabin Lexus Es300 instead.

LOL.... i love driving. And yes I do tend to drive a lot just for the hell of it. Oh hell... at least I get to drive other cars besides mine. I work for my friends car dealership, so I tend to always have another car, usually more than $60K. Like I have an '01 740i right now, so I've actually kept the mileage down on my car this spring.

Hehe..check this out guys. I bought a 2001 Laguna Green TL-P brand new back in Oct. of 2000. And as of today only have 17,000 miles on it. Not too shabby huh? I mostly use my old car, a 93 Acura Vigor. I'm waiting to save up some money for mods on the TL, then I'll cruise around and really show it off.

Drive? I'll go even further. When I first got my Laguna green metallic '01 ( a color they never should have discontinued and which is best viewed at dusk to get its full impact) , I'd just sit in it for no reason.

BTW I applied that 303 UV protectant and besides the UV protection it gives everything a beautiful shiny wet-look. Another reason to just sit and take it all in......

does your 03 have Nav? if it does, we'll trade, I hate driving around... I don't care what kind of car I drive... I have 37000 miles on my 2000 with 4 miles on it when I picked it up... I drive when I have to, but the daily commute of 50 miles is killing me...
