Anyone change a Timing Belt on 99 TL???
I want to change my timing belt and water pump. Does anyone have a manual that shows the engine in TDC? If anyone can post a pic or pdf of a page in a manual, that would be of great help to me.

Do NOT change the timing belt yourself, unless you are a real mechanic. Weekend do it yourselfers can do a whole lot of things themselves, but f'n up a timing belt on an OHV car, or forgetting to change a tensioner or pulley you should have will lead to massive damage. Take it to the dealer or a mechanic extremely familiar with japanese cars for a timing belt change.

I have a lot of experience with Honda/Acura motors. I worked in a shop as a mechanic for regular maintenance and race parts installations. I know this is an easy replacement for me. I just need to know the marks for TDC. If anyone has a pdf or image of a page from their manual showing this, this is all I need. I just haven't been able to pick up a manual for the car to show this. I just thought that since this car is what this board is familiar with, someone would have it. Again, I am a mechanic...and not just a weekend bankyard one. I just need this particular spec so I can change it this weekend.
Thanks for the concern guys!!! Good lookin out.

theres a slot on the rear cam pulley. line it up with the mark on the rear pulley cover. the white mark on the crank pulley with align with the arrow, and the number 1 will be visible in the window of the front pulley cover

Dont forget the special tool for holding the auto tensioner compressed while you install the new belt. Honda didnt use the old spring/arm tensioner on that model and didnt go to a hydralic unit till 2002. As far as the marks go hellas is correct. Your best bet is to pull the top covers off and use the lower cover marks to align with the crank pully but if you forget there is and arrow on the block and a dot on the crankshaft timing gear that you can use as well.
