My tranny's dying, and I need to get it replaced. South Coast Acura is the closest, but I'm not sure if I should trust them, because the last time I brought the car in to get the tranny checked out, the service manager said he had no clue there was a tranny problem in the TL Type S, and he said that they had not replaced any so far. Anybody have any dealer recommendations?

Hoehn Acura in Carlsbad, (Diego) says they never heard of it either.

 

Acura = BAD Service.

Stay away from South Coast - at least from the advisor kid. He is wet dreaming. Must be the same kid telling you, "tranny problem!?!, no such thing. Never heard of it before". Telling me if that is not a wet day dreaming. Or he is too smart to stay away from Acura himselft, and just drive a hundai or kia for better service.

 

got mine replaced at Acura of Pasadena, but it moved to Acura of Glendale...

 

Thomas Acura in West Covina is pretty good. Go to them especially IF your car is modded because they overlook mods.
