Anybody know what this could be?

My check engine light keeps coming on also, I went to acura and they said the gas cap was loose or something, but I know how to tighten a gas cap, so they reset it and of course it came back again with the same code, so i went to autozone and they checked it again and said it was as exhaust system leak, so I picked up a new gas cap from acura and its still coming on, i can reset it if I take off the negative terminal on the battery and it stays off for awhile but always comes back... Everything sounds normal and drives fine except for maybe a little worse gas milage... I dont damn know? Help plez.

Did the light come on after you got gas? If they said it was due to your gas cap being loose - it just means that you did not turn the cap tight enough after you filled the car. Make sure you hear at least three clicks when you twist the cap shut (is actually written right on the cap itself). If the code came up because of that, it should clear in a few days.

should be in the manual as well, take off the cap and put it back on with the 3 clicks and after a few starts the light will reset itself. worked when i did it.

Oxygen Sensor could be faulty but codes for exhaust and sensors are normally specific. Check code again

Actually I think the car has to go through 40 cycles before it will shut it off.
This means the car is started cold, warmed to operating temp, then cooled back down=1 cycle.
If the car is started when hot it won't count or if it's not warmed up to operating temp it won't count either.
As far as the gas cap loose. There is no code that says gas cap loose, it may just be an easy way out for the tech instead of doing some diag.
There is only code 1456 with is a leak on the tank side, which can be a couple things like a loose gas cap, pin hole in line some where or two-way valve etc...
The other code is 1457 which is a leak on the canister side.

If the dealer said the gas cap was loose it was a 1456.
What kind of insight can you give?

Ok, I just got back from North carolina so, Im going to Autozone to see what the actual code number is... I reset the ecu again the other day and the next day it came on again. It seems to come on after 2-3 minutes of driving each time.. The car drives fine, and I still use premium gas so I dont think that's it. Ill let yall know..
