Any1 ever Redline
Any1 ever Redline
Sometimes when i race the stock cars of the world..i (idiotit mistake) sometimes redline it, and when i do, the car stutters giving the impression it's going to stall..to relieve it, i just put it in neutral or put it back on auto..Am i destroying my car, or is just one of those things that u shouldn't do alot???
by the way my motto is, I paid 30k for my car, it's paid off, I wanna enjoy the hell out of it...

No need to put it into neutral, in fact I recommend you dont do that.
All that stuttering is is your fuel cutoff. The computer cuts the fuel supply to the engine when you hit the rev limiter causing the jerking. Taking your foot off of the gas and allowing the engine to slow(rpm's to drop) will restore the fuel supply.

Why hold it in 3rd, when there is 2 more gears to go.
yeah, just upshift or let go of gas. actually i think putting the car in neutral is a bad / dangerous thing to do. i think the car could lose control easily when you lose gears suddenly at high speed
