I would suggest getting some quotes from online services such as autobytel, costco, autoweb, carsdirect, etc. and hold off getting it until the last week of this month. Dealerships needs to move certain amount of cars every month, and if you do your homework and knows how much you really want to spend, give that number to them on July 31, chances are that you will get a very good deal. Hope this helps. Good luck.

couple tips:

1) set a highest price you feel it's fair with all the options on. If it's even only $100 over, forget it.

2) compare price at least 2-3 dealers for same model with same options.

3) never fall into crap like this is the most favorite color, that's why they can't cut you a deal

4) try going in dealer at end of the month because sometime salesman wants to meet quota, they are more willing to work with you

5) try to buy one from their lot, since TL has been out for several years. Supply shouldn't be an issue. They want to get rid of their inventory because they are paying for interest and insurance

6) will power to walk away. They will call you sooner or later. It's better to have money in your pocket than being stuck with a deal you later on found out it's a bad one.

Just my point if view, don't know if it helps.

Send emails or faxes to several dealers around you telling them what you want. Play them off of each other before you even go to a showroom. Have your price in mind and negotiate until you get it. If your price is fair you shouldn't have trouble getting it.
