Question Any Suggestions on the types of Mufflers for the TL?

Hey all, I was just wondering what you guys think about the 3 chamber Flowmasters? Tommy Amrani has them on his and he said that they are great. I also talked to couple of other peps that have Comptech and they say its worth it. Its $200 Vs. $515. Any suggstions or comments would be great. Thanx

I have flow masters too, tommy got a 3 chamber and i have 2, i have the cl and i wanted a little more grunt that he had. I think mine sounds great and i get compliments on it all the time . And i personally think that for 180 flkows is worth more than the 500 it would cost for comptechs, think how much other stuff u can get for the extra 300 or more difference.

flowmasters are for hillbillies. That's why you always see the red necks with the flowmaster sticker on their trucks.

hillbillies get flows on their trucks... w/stupid 10 feet piping and shit... i got three chamber, nothing hillbillie about it...especially with the tips i got, everyone thinks its comptechs...
comptechs look good, they shine, but look identicle to the flows w/the right tips.
dhiren has comptechs, they aren't loud at all... and warren is right, for the 300 dollar difference, shit, i'd get flows and a bunch of other stuff...
i told you asif... the right tips to get are 3 or 3 1/2 inch tips...
AC, if you wanna see what they look like, check my car or warrens, not much to see... it's just a regular black exhaust... they look identicle to stock
WHY DONT YOU WANT YOUR EXHAUST AC???????

I think a exhaust that is too loud and with a tip too big takes away from the TL. It's more of a luxury car than a sports car. It's just my opinion, I can be wrong.

you are right, that's why you get an exhaust that's not too loud (3 chamber flows) and tips that are perfect in size, (3 inch)
unless you have a sportier car (cl-s, than i'd get two chamber)
dats my word,
i'm out dis biatch

well, the more "air or gas flow" that is available the more HP, but you don't gain nearly as much from Flow master, as you would from comptech if that's the comparison you are interested in...
many say comptech exhaust gain you anywhere from 5-10hp... who knows...
i'd still rather get the 200 dollar exhaust vs. the 500 dollar one...and save more money and gain less HP... cause who can really notice that little of a gain...
