i threw a code P1457 which is "EVAP Control System Leak Detected (Control Canister System)"

from what i can tell it has something to do with emissions.

would this have any thing to do with axle back exhaust or intake?

i mean the exhaust should not effect any thing. but the intake?


and has any one ever had this code?

I did a search on P1457 and the results were...tighten your gas cap.

 

yea i read that as well. i just went out and disconnected my battery and tightened my cap.


thing is though it hasn't got gas in almost 2 weeks. so i would imagine if it was from the last time i filled up that it woulda happened sooner.

but i hope it doesn't come back.

 

intake and exhaust wouldnt cause that code

 

well i cleared the code and tightened the gas cap and it came back.



any other suggestions?
